What Portfolio is

Portfolio is a free, open chronicle of the working web. 833 sites are presently on record across 22 sections, each submitted by an operator and filed into the chronicle at the date of receipt. The record has been kept on this basis since the first entry, and it remains open to any working site without charge.

How the chronicle works

Every submission passes through a brief check — the site must be live and must correspond to the section it was filed against. Sites that are parked, redirected to unrelated content, or clearly mismatched to their chosen section are not carried forward. Everything else enters the record and stays there unless the operator asks for removal.

What you will find here

The Portfolio chronicle covers twenty-two sections of the working internet: betting and wagering platforms, dental and health practices, legal firms, travel agencies, software companies, and much else besides. The general section carries sites that do not fit a named column. There is no ranking within sections — entries appear in the order they were filed.

Submitting to Portfolio

Filing a site in the Portfolio chronicle is straightforward. Enter the URL, select the section that best matches the site trade, and submit the form. The entry is written to the record immediately. There is no queue, no review delay, and no fee. One site, one entry, in the section that fits.

About this chronicle

Portfolio operates on the principle that a useful directory is one that simply records what exists. The chronicle does not endorse, rank, or editorially assess the sites it carries — it files them. Operators who wish to have an entry removed may contact the keeper directly from a verifiable address associated with the site in question.
